my addiction to power lines
the idea of standing above serving all
i’ve been taking pictures of power lines lately.
now i don’t think it’s some power line fetish or so, but it’s the idea that they represent.
above our heads, close to the magnificent blue skies.
they represent something bigger than themselves.
an act of service people don’t put too much thought into. unshakable, unwavering in service.
it’s what they embody that inspires me.
i wrote this yesterday and i couldn’t complete it, but i asked myself, “not everything has to be a linear story.”
mainly motivated by James Clear’s newsletter and like what i’ve done before, multiple ideas in a thought.
sometimes you don’t have more than a few words, other times you have excess.
i have to strike the balance between being consistent and making sense too.
some days you’re blank, others you’re full of inspiration.
the main idea from this is to show up either way and do it as best as you can.
you only see what you want to see
